Night Diving

Within minutes we can drop you in for a spectacular night dive on the beautiful Tutukaka Coast.  Whether it is for underwater photography or a lobster dive we will take you to the spot.  The two local naval ships sunk of Tutukaka are also great attraction for divers. (Advanced Open Water certification with a minimum of 25 logged dives required for wreck dives).

If you are interested in doing a night dive, let us know. There are a couple of things to consider before asking:

  • We are only able to offer night dives if you have a group of 8 or more divers.
  • What time of year is it? During the summer, it is difficult for us to offer night dives as the sun sets too late in the day.
  • Planning your night dive around a full moon can make for a very pleasant evening on the ocean.

If you are interested in chartering the boat for your group of divers, possibly consider a 3 dive day. Depending on the experience level of your divers, maybe we can offer a lunch time wreck dive, a dive at the Poor Knights in the afternoon followed by a night dive. We are open to any suggestions if you are chartering the boat, let us know what you would like to do and we can provide you with a quote.
